Technical Sales Engineer (Mechanical Engineering Degree)

Al-Rawabet, a leading provider of HVAC engineering solutions, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team. If you hold a mechanical engineering degree, possess excellent English language skills, and have experience in HVAC engineering, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret HVAC diagrams to understand system configurations and components.
  • Familiarity with R&ID (Piping & Instrumentation Diagram) to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
  • Prepare HVAC system concepts and develop air flow and balance diagrams.
  • Conduct ductwork and pump head calculations to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Thorough knowledge of SMACNA codes, NFPA codes, duct sizing, and duct static pressure calculation.
  • Create chilled water, heating water, and steam flow diagrams.
  • Prepare accurate cost estimates based on provided HVAC system diagrams.
  • Conduct building load calculations to determine system requirements.
  • Test and evaluate the efficiency of HVAC systems.
  • Identify energy-saving opportunities and propose system and operational changes to reduce energy consumption.
  • Select and schedule HVAC equipment, including air handlers.
  • Understand the technical sales cycle and sales process terms.
  • Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
  • Prepare quotations, commercial proposals, and technical proposals.
  • Identify, generate, and pursue sales leads and opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Hold a degree in mechanical engineering with a specialization in HVAC systems.
  • At least 3 years experience as a Sales Engineer
  • Proficiency in both English and Arabic, both written and spoken and Kurdish language is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of HVAC system diagrams, including reading and interpreting them.
  • Proven track record in preparing quotations, commercial proposals, and technical proposals.
  • Strong ability to identify, generate, and pursue sales leads and opportunities.
